How long does the Design process take?

Designing your pool can be accomplished in one sitting at your home or at our design center. The more elaborate your backyard vision, the more visits it may take to accomplish your dream. Either way we will take the time to get it right.

How long will it take to complete a pool & spa installation?

A typical installation will take from 5 to 8 weeks to complete depending upon the features, options and design details. Please allow additional time for inclement weather.

What type of a cleaning system should we invest in?

Infloor systems are the most thorough form of cleaning. The increased circulation greatly improves debris removal, water cleanliness and reduces your time spent doing maintenance. Infloor systems require good design, manufacturing and installation practices to perform properly. For these reasons we use the Paramount PCC-2000 Cleaning and Circulation System with the MDX main drain assembly.

Should I invest in a salt water system for my pool?

Salt water pools are more popular today and easy for pool companies to sell. It is important to purchase a salt system for the right reasons. Salt systems do not eliminate water and equipment maintenance. In some ways they require more attention. Talk with one of our design professionals about the pros and cons of salt.

Can swimming pools and spas be set up for the elderly and the handicapped?

Yes. Water therapy is very beneficial to most people with physical handicaps and to those of us that cannot exercise due to aging muscles and joints. Talk to your doctor about water therapy and let our design professionals help you set up your pool to satisfy your needs.

We can take your application and forward it to one of several financial institutions. Home improvement loans are the most popular, but there are several options for you to choose from.

How much time will I spend taking care of my pool?

All pools require weekly attention. The amount of time will be determined by the environment around the pool and the cleaning system you have chosen. The better the system, the less time and effort required.

What if we do not know how to take care of a swimming pool?

When you invest in a swimming pool and/or spa from The Pool Man, we will schedule a pool school with you and your family with one of our experienced technicians. They will take the time to properly prepare you to operate and maintain your pool and/or spa.

Who do we call to service our pool should the need arise?

Even the best pool installations may require service at some point. The Pool Man is staffed with service professionals that are factory trained to perform any type of service or warranty work you may need.
