Wes Colby - Pool Designer

Wes has a somewhat unique history with The Pool Man in that he purchased not one but TWO inground swimming pools from The Pool Man before deciding to join the team in 2009. He was so impressed with both of his pools, and the experience with both that when it came time for Wes to consider a career change, he contacted The Pool Man about becoming a custom pool designer.  Looking back at how much his family enjoyed the highly-fulfilling memories with their own swimming pool, Wes knew he was ready to start creating those memories for other homeowners.  Since he came on board, we've actually built a third pool for him, making him not only a part of The Pool Man Team, but also a 3-time Pool Man Customer!

Wes also loves the creative side of the business.  Most clients have a pretty good idea of what they want, but Wes always manages to add a little spice and take their vision to a level they never thought possible “It’s hard work, and it takes time and dedication to the craft, but it’s truly a blessing to do this for people,” says Wes.  “I also love how here at The Pool Man, we’re all family. It starts at the top and permeates throughout the company.  We all sincerely care about producing the best product, and providing the best level of service that’s humanly possible.  And we are always trying to better ourselves collectively as a unit and individually.  We understand that if we don’t grow, stagnation shows up and that’s not at all what our team is about. We set the benchmark for custom pool builders and we envision our team as being the benchmark leader.”

Outside of work, Wes enjoys classic muscle cars, body building, spending time with his family, and exercising his 2nd amendment rights.
